Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum

Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum

Built in honor of the victims, survivors and rescuers of the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, this memorial and museum is located on the former site of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. The memorial includes a beautiful reflecting pool, survivors' wall, survivor chair and field of empty chairs. The inscription on the Gates of Time reads, "We come here to remember those who were killed, those who survived and those changed forever. May all who leave here known the impact of violence. May this memorial offer comfort, strength, peace, hope and serenity."
